Strawberry plants easy to plant in this planter stacked 5 high. Used a long piece of wood, 1×1, in center to stabilize unit and buried into the soil about 3 inches. Not sure that 40 plants would have worked very well since they need room to grow roots and plants. However if I were planting other plants, like herbs, its possible.
Love it and waiting to see how well the plants at the bottom will do . stay tuned!
